Performers
We welcome performers from 5 years old and any experience level.
Script readthroughs and auditions take place twice a year:
January — for our Summer production
August — for our Pantomime
Come along to read through the script with the cast, get a feel for the show, and book an audition slot with our Company Secretary, who will also provide the audition pieces. It’s relaxed, supportive, and a great way to meet the team.
Front of House
Not a performer but still want to be part of the fun? We’re always grateful for friendly faces to help with front of house, programme sales, raffles, and refreshments during show weeks. It’s a brilliant way to support local theatre and be part of our community.

If you love the magic that happens behind the scenes, we’d love to have you. We’re always looking for enthusiastic set builders, costume makers, props assistants, stage managers, and tech crew (lighting, sound, and AV). Whether you’re experienced or brand new, there’s a place for your creativity and skills at ACT.
